This project involved the transportation of around 50,000 freight tons of plant equipment, mostly from Europe and the United States, from a number of ex-works sites to a destination site in Kemaman Terengganu
About 30% of the stores were heavly lift, and oversized cargo, whereby special lifting and handling equipment was required for transportation from Port to unloading at the destination site.
The Project team was further involved in the preparation of Custom Duty Exemption and in obtaining the necessary clearances and paperwork, with approvals from the Malaysian Treasury for the entire shipment
We were involved at key positions for tendering until being awarded the contract by Esso Production Malaysia Inc.. The contract was for 2+1 years, involving the provision of Marine Logistic Support Services: - including Clearance of rigs, Supply Vessels and additional Vessels chartered by EPMI in Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore.
The contract further included transportation of all their materials from various points of origin to Kemamam Supply Base, plus all necessary Customs Clearance formalities
This project was during the expansion phase of a Gas Processing Plant and Export Terminal at Kerteh Terengganu for Petronas Gas
The project involved working closely with the main suppliers Messrs. Nouvu Pigone, Italy, to coordinate and transport 46 units of heat exchangers, from Italy to the expansion site at Kerteh Terengganu
This further included the handling of Custom and Treasury Exemption submissions. We also undertook the trucking of the heat exchangers from Port of destination to the New Expansion site
- Sarawak Shell Berhad / Sabah Shell Petroleum Co
This project involved Marine Agency and Logistic Support Services, the contract was awarded by SSD / SSPC for 3+2 years involving the following: - Clearance of Vessels and materials in Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore
We were further involved in the chartering of barges and tugs for the transportation of their materials from Singapore to the main fabrication facilities
This project involved the clearance, delivery of bare pipes and then the re-exportation of coated pipes from ex-works Kuantan to Vietnam The total tonnage was 50,000MT
We were further involved with the handling of all Treasury / Customs Exemption formalities
This project was optic fibre submarine cable laying; which involved logistic support services for cable laying vessels and barges, from Kuantan - shore end to Tanjong Aru and Kota Kinabalu
- Nippon Oil Exploration (M) Ltd and Hall Houston Malaysia Ltd
This project involved total drilling support operations and procurement activities for all drilling materials for seven (7) exploration wells
